Today I saw Yes Man at the falls and it’s a great movie because it struck home with me. At first I though that the movie be a joke because that’s what movies of that subject nature are, not this one. This movie spoke to me because I felt that I have the same exact problems as the man in the movie. I think that a lot of people suffer from the same mental problems that I face on a daily basis and this movie is a motivator to get up and do what you feel is right. I’m glad that I was told to go see the movie because it has just the right mood and theme to motivate someone like me to pursue my endeavors. I highly suggest that you check the movie, although I have seen many movies I would definitely put this on my list of top 10 movies.
The movie is about a man who lives a mundane life and then discovers the power of yes. The man takes it a bit to far, but you’ll discover more about this when you watch the movie.

In our day of age a lot of things are being marketed as “free” but in reality there is no such thing. Free is the lie that companies spew to you as a way of trying to market the price of two goods into one at a higher price and attempting to manipulate you into believing that you are getting a great deal. In economics there is such thing as opportunity cost and that is the alternative best action that one can take as opposed to the current action. It turns out that one of my sites isn’t working as it should be, and it comes that it just started happening after a major outage at my host, asmallorange. It annoys me to see such a great hosting company having a problem like this, at the same time they have sent out no warning of this happening or any explanation as to why it happened. I’m not a big fan of big hosting companies like dreamhost.com that offer services that oversell but at least they update all of their users about the status of their servers on a blog that they own.
This has continually happened, my own pinging service has them rated of having uptime of on 99.7% which isn’t bad, nor good. Of course this could be underestimating the problem because it doesn’t monitor my site every minute of the day, rather it checks on a couple hour basis so I could be looking at hosting that is failing to keep their guarantee. It amazes me how fast technology has been able to progress. I wish that I could progress as far and as fast as technology does. I remember first learning how a VCR could be a hooked into a TV out to record programs and yesterday I was amazed to learn about using a TV out and hooking it up to a DVD recorder. At this point I’m tired of big business and especially big banks. Sometimes I get to worked up about my work. As of a couple days ago I started taking my work a little slowly because I felt that I wanted to enjoy what’s left of my winter vacation. Often times the American work ethic forces us to feel that we aren’t being all that we can be unless we run ourselves into the ground by overworking. My dad told me that I’m always stressed because “I’m always thinking of twenty sites that need constant work”. Although he isn’t right about how many sites I have, he is right that I work way to hard on many different projects at once.
Of course I would be lying if I were to say that we should always specialize, but I feel that we need to be able to take a step back from the puritan lifestyle and indulge in a little R&R. I still plan on doing some work tonight but I promise you (my kick ass readers) that I will not spend more than an hour and a half working today. After running with a friend of mine I have to realize that life is to short, even if my goals depend on my wealth I have to appreciate the fact that I will only enjoy that wealth with a lot less stress.

Today I was reading about the Lenovo W700ds Slide-Out Monitor notebook that features a optional second screen. No notebook manufacturer to date has been able to do this with a notebook and after looking at the demonstration I have to say that I’m very impressed. Had I not already gone out and bought a notebook I may have decided to buy the W700ds because it will serve me well in my classes. Right now in class I find it hard to use my single monitor on my notebook because i’m so accustomed to using dual monitors at home. The problem will become more exacerbated as I move onto triple and quad monitors in the near future.
The benefits of dual monitors stay the same whether you sport them on a desktop or notebook. For one it makes comparing financial spreadsheets (key to any business) much easier. In addition one can do research while talking to a client in another window. For my purposes I use dual monitors to do research when I write reviews online, they make me more efficient and I look that much more cool(er).

Many car companies allow for their employees to use the company car but these businesses often times fail to purchase the right or more affordable insurance. A company needs to buy guest house insurance in order to have full coverage on all there vehicles and employees.
