I started reorganizing my room, and it still stuns me how many people are hung up about money when deciding how to stucture their workspace. I was talking to my mom about spending seventy dollars on a new desk, and she told me “no” because that’s alot of money. She doesn’t take into consideration the marginal utlity that i will gain when using a better desk, and that it’s better suited for work (more marginal benefit if you ask me). It’s a shame that people only think of money instead of thinking how much benefit they will derive from using something ergonomic.
