Some thoughts on Lifestyle
I have been writing a lot about lifestyle and business for the last couple of days and I realize that our standards constantly change. I talked about materialism and how it can be a horrible thing if taken too far, I also talked about a simple lifestyle. In my mind I’m always thinking of the perfect set up for a home that I will one day own and today I added one more piece to my mental image, a grandfather clock. A grandfather clock can be a great asset to any home, they allow some unused space to be taken up and at the same time provide a minuscule but important piece of information, the time.
In our old house my family and myself enjoyed the presence of a great grandfather clock, unfortunately it was destroyed during the moving process here. I enjoyed hearing the tick and tock of the clock as the pendulum went back and forth, it was soothing for me and a great way to relax. Fortunately grandfather clocks aren’t all that expensive anymore thanks to sites like the one that I linked to. I fully intent do buy another grandfather clock when I have enough money and my own house.
